The innovative reclosing device SnapQuick from Ecolean (Sweden) takes reclosure to the next level. It is a convenient reclosing device, easy enough for everyone to use. Unlike many other reclosing alternatives, SnapQuick is lightweight and part of the package.

The SnapQuick reclosing device is integrated into the package, without compromising the functionality. Once the package is opened, it can be easily closed by just folding the top and giving it a light pinch. The reclosing device is made from PET and adds less than 0.5 gram to the total package weight, which is substantially less compared to conventional reclosing devices such as screw caps. You just fold and snap!

The SnapQuick is available for family-sized Ecolean Air and Ecolean Air Aseptic packages. The SnapQuick applicator modules, one for EL1 filling machine for chilled distribution and one for EL3 filling machine for ambient distribution, connect to the filling machine as an integrated part and applies the SnapQuick to the package prior to filling.

Welcome to a lighter world

The unique Ecolean package is shaped like a pitcher, with an air-filled handle making it convenient to use. It suits various purposes in sizes from portion packages to family-sized packages.

The lightweight Ecolean package puts all heavier packages in the shade. It weighs approximately 50-60% less than a conventional liquid food carton or bottle.

Thanks to the soft material a consumer can easily empty the Ecolean package completely. Once empty, it is flat as an envelope. Imagine the space, energy and transport saved in a world of Ecolean packages.

Ecolean present a range of packages whatever your need is. You find solutions for both chilled and ambient distribution. By using a minimal amount of material we create a lightweight package which combines low environmental impact with consumer convenience.

Our packaging material used in the Ecolean Air and Ecolean Air Aseptic packaging consists of part plastic part calcium carbonate (chalk), one of nature’s own materials. No chemical processes are necessary to extract the chalk and only limited energy is required in the production. The package consists of up to 35% (by weight) of calcium carbonate and it provides strength and stiffness as well as whiteness to the package. After disposal the package can either be material recycled as plastics or recovered as energy by incineration.
