Interview with Cesar Leon, creative director of the Solar de Samaniego Group.


 

The Solar de Samaniego Group is a group of family businesses with half a century behind them that own vineyards and wine-producing companies with Denomination of Qualified Origin for Rioja (Bodegas Solar de Samaniego), and Denomination of Origin for Ribera del Duero (Bodegas Duron). For several years, the fourth generation of the family has been guiding the progress of this wine-producing group.

For example, that Bodegas Solar de Samaniego, based in the mediaeval village of Laguardia (Alava, in the Basque Country), is an aesthetic industrial wine factory that we are integrating into the countryside with the help of an alliance with the UNESCO centre for Cultural Landscapes and Natural Heritage.
