At the present time, we are immersed in a historical revolution across all economic sectors towards a new system based on sustainability. Increased social awareness, the relentless growth of waste, along with regulatory pressure, bring the necessity to define strategic plans for the development of new packaging solutions and technologies that minimize the environmental impact of the waste generated, in line with the EU Circular Economy Action Plan.
