We inaugurate the new year with renewed sections that are more aligned with current trends and the interests of our readers.
ITENE's dossier, which explains how to transform the challenge of the European Packaging Regulation into a competitive advantage, is integrated, in this first issue of 2025, in a special issue we have prepared on “Sustainability: emerging strategies”; in this sense, we approach the great key theme of today from different points of view and perspectives.
On the cover we have Leyre Arce, head of Marketing and Innovation at Grupo Consorcio, the well-known canning company from Santoña, who tells us about the company's efforts to balance quality, sustainability and authenticity in its products.
Finally, although there are other and varied contents, we offer a complete summary of the recognized packaging design awards Pentawards and an interesting interview with Monica Yoldi, designer and director of the School of Design of La Rioja (ESDIR), which leaves us a great headline: “Wine and EVOO labels have become canvases to tell stories and experiences”.
