Paris Packaging Week 2025: An ambitious expansion and new experiences to dive into the heart of the packaging world

25/10/2024

CATEGORY: Fairs BRAND: Paris Packaging Week

Paris Packaging Week returns on January 28 and 29, 2025 with a reinvented show, rich in technological innovation, inspiring design and new immersive experiences.

Paris Packaging Week is reinventing itself for its upcoming edition on January 28 & 29, 2025, with a series of innovations designed to connect and inspire packaging professionals in the fields of luxury, aerosols, beauty and beverages.

The edition marks a decisive turning point with the introduction of new areas dedicated to design, full-service companies, and start-ups, alongside the four existing Paris Packaging Week trade shows – ADF, PCD, PLD and Packaging Première. In addition, the event is moving to the largest space at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Hall 1.

In 2025, more than 750 packaging suppliers are expected to showcase their products to an international community of more than 12,000 packaging designers, developers and buyers, making it the leading event in the sector.

New features and immersive experiences

Among the standout innovations this year, the event will introduce the Discovery Zone, a space entirely dedicated to the future of packaging. This new hub will showcase start-ups that are revolutionizing packaging with technologies such as artificial intelligence, eco-friendly materials, reuse, and smart packaging.

In response to the growing demands of brands, the PCD will present a unique Full-Service Zone, designed to meet the needs in formulation, custom packaging, and research & development. This area will offer tailored and agile solutions to help businesses optimize their production chain and accelerate the market launch of new products.

A unique design festival by Pentawards

In a major new development, the Pentawards, the world’s most prestigious packaging design competition, will host its Pentawards Festival for the first time at the heart of Paris Packaging Week. This unique event will bring together international design agencies, showcase a gallery of the world’s most outstanding packaging designs, and feature conferences led by global design leaders. It’s an exceptional opportunity for visitors to explore the latest packaging design inspirations.

These new initiatives will complement the already rich offerings of Paris Packaging Week, which include an exciting conference program, relaxation and coworking areas, as well as champagne, cocktail, and beer bars. The galleries dedicated to the winners of the Innovation Awards will continue to highlight the best creations in the industry.

Specialized exhibitions for targeted solutions

Paris Packaging Week continues to offer a tailored approach for packaging innovators and creators by segmenting its exhibitions according to specific markets:

· PCD for the cosmetics and fragrance sectors;

· ADF for aerosol and dispensing solutions;

· PLD for premium and luxury drinks;

· Packaging Première for luxury products, including fashion, watches, jewelry, and fine foods.

This targeted organization allows professionals in each sector to find personalized solutions that precisely meet the needs of their market.

An edition marked by renewal and growth

Josh Brooks, Co-Director of Paris Packaging Week, explains: "Paris Packaging Week is constantly reinventing itself to offer an even more enriching experience to its packaging creators' community. 2025 marks a true rebirth with a new hall, which has allowed us to meet various visitor demands regarding design, subcontracting, and, of course, startups and innovation. The new exhibitors, networking spaces, and co-working areas will also create fresh opportunities for connection and discovery. Above all, we aim to provide a vision of the future of packaging for each of our visitors and every brand that trusts our event."
