We are at a time when the shortage of certain products and the rising cost of raw materials and energy have occurred at the same time, and the need for a transition from a linear economy based on consume, use and throw away, i.e. to think about the reuse of resources and the generation of raw materials from the waste of products already used, is becoming more evident. In short, a change focused on sustainability.

The great advantage of this transition is mainly the generation of more benefits such as improved security of raw material supplies, innovation, economic growth and even employment. On top of all these advantages is the decrease in environmental impact due to better use of resources, since the extraction and use of virgin raw materials has a higher impact as more energy is needed and CO2 emissions increase.
