With ambitious targets such as ensuring that all packaging on the EU market is economically and effectively recyclable by 2030 and reducing the volume of packaging waste by 15% per capita by 2040, the new regulation requires a complete overhaul of packaging design, materials, and processes.

 

 

One of the pillars of the PPWR is the requirement for recyclability according to harmonized and verifiable criteria.
