Reasearch centers play an essential role in promoting knowledge and innovation applied to the current challenges facing industry.

Our mission is not limited to research; it goes a step further to bring real solutions to companies, supporting them in the transition to more sustainable and competitive models. In a context where the circularity of plastics has become a priority objective for the industry and is marked by European legislation, our job is to be able to transform these challenges into technological solutions that drive change.

To showcase our work in research, consulting, and testing for plastic circularity, ITENE will have a significant presence at the K 2025 trade fair in Düsseldorf (Germany) with a stand located in Hall 5 - E01. There, we will present our lines of research and development of advanced and sustainable plastic materials, whether recyclable, compostable, or reusable alternatives, as well as innovative chemical, mechanical, and enzymatic recycling technologies.

We will also present ITENE's testing services focused on the safety, recyclability, compostability, and biodegradability of plastics, in addition to consulting support for companies, particularly in relation to compliance with environmental legislation. In terms of scaling technologies for the sector, the synthesis, formulation, and processing of polymers will be presented, as well as the production of packaging on a pilot scale.

The K Fair is the perfect showcase to show how ITENE's innovation can become a transformation lever to boost the circular economy and the closing of the plastic materials cycle, offering to the companies an integral accompaniment that joins research, consultancy, and technical validation.
